A good friend once told me “Everyone’s good for something. At the very least you can be a bad example.” That’s how I felt after writing the original post. I had such tunnel vision about this project that I overlooked a critical requirement. Ralph, from Accidental Woodworker, and Isaac, from Blackburn Tools, plus a couple of others, all correctly pointed out that I was taking a big chance in ripping a leg extension off with only 2! screws at the top of it. D’oh!!! When I finally realized what I had done, I was like “Oh crap!” Last night I fixed the problem.
